Paralytic affections of lower extremities, with hyperaesthesia of the skin, aggravated by damp. Vertigo when standing, with eyes closed. Great exaggeration of the reflexes. Spastic paraplegia. Athetosis. Beri-beri. Infantile paralysis. After grippe and wasting and exhaustive diseases, where there is slow recovery of nerve power. Evttremities. — Tremulous, tottering gait. Excessive .pfidity of legs; spastic gait. Cannot extend or cross LATH YK U S — LATRODECTU S M ACTA N S 453 Jegs when sitting. Myelitis, with marked spastic symptoms. Rheumatic paralysis. Gluteal muscles and lower Umbs emaciated. Legs blue; swollen, if hanging down. Stiffness and lameness of ankles and knees, toes do not leave the floor, heels do not touch floor. Muscles of calves very tense. F'atietit sits bent forward, straightens up with difficulty. Urine. — Increased Madder reflex. Frequent, must hurry, else voided invcduntanly.
